About Round Robin
Round-robin assignment is a method of distributing records among a group of users in a sequential manner. When a record is routed for assignment, each user in the round-robin group is assigned in rotation based on the last assigned time.
Round Robin Process
Round-robin records can contain multiple round-robin assignments. When a round-robin group is used in routing assignments, each assignment within the group will be assigned to a record in rotation based on the last assigned time. For example, if Routing Rule 1 selects RR1 for assignment and RR1 contains assignments RRA1, RRA2, and RRA3, the first lead matching Rule 1 will be assigned to the user in RRA1, updating the last assigned time. The next lead matching Rule 1 will be assigned to the user in RRA2, and the following lead will go to the user in RRA3, continuing in this rotation.
