Step-by-Step Guide to Integrating Zenroute with Your Salesforce Environment

Zenroute Salesforce Setup and installation

Immediately after installation, the System Admin should configure certain permissions for integrating Zenroute.

To assign the permission set to the Admin user, follow these steps

1. From the Setup menu, enter "permission set" in the Quick Find box and click on it.
   

2. Select the "Zenroute Admin" permission set.

3. Click on "Manage Assignments" to assign permission set to user.

4. Check Current Assignments and Click on "Add Assignment".

5. Select user to which need to assign permission set and click on "Next".

6. Click on "Assign".

When a managed package is installed, certain checks in the "System Permissions" section of the permission set will not be reflected correctly. To address this:

In addition to the above, user must have following permissions :  

• “Customize Application" 

• "Manage Custom Permissions"

• "Modify Metadata Through Metadata API Functions"

After granting each permission as outlined in the user guide above, navigate back to the home page of your Salesforce org. From there, you will need to select our app named Zenroute.

Click on that, and you will be directed to the "Zenroute" tab. This tab is the only one available within the app. Clicking on it will take you to all the features in the application.

To assign the permission set to the User (With only bare minimum permission) follow these steps-

1. From the Setup menu, enter "permission set" in the Quick Find box and click on it.
   

2. Select the "Zenroute User" permission set.

3. Click on "Manage Assignments."

4. Click on “Add Assignments” and select the user's name.

5. Assign the permission by clicking on Click on "Assign" User with Zenroute User permission set will have permission to perform feature operation but will not have application permission to create/edit feature rules or settings.
