Mass Merging And Schedule Merging
The administrator will have to guide the system to understand the "Schedule Mass Merge" feature in Zenroute through a sequence of steps:
Initial Setup:
When no duplicate rules exist and Merge Rule is not enabled on rules, the screen will appear as shown.
Click on the "Active Merge Rules" button to navigate to the Matching Rules page to enable Merge Rule on a specific rule.
Settings:
After enabling Merge Rules on duplicate rules, the screen will display these settings.
Schedule Mass Merge Section:
This section allows running mass merge jobs for Account, Contact, or Lead merge jobs.
Run Simulation:
Toggle to mock the mass merging operation for selected rules.
Helps identify the master record during merging.
The "Merge Winner" field on the objects identifies the master record.
Select Merge Rule and Run Job:
Drop-down displays all active and auto merge checked standard duplicate rules.
Select a Merge Rule and click "Run Now" to execute the mass merge job.
After clicking "Run Now," the executing message will be displayed, and the "Run Now" button will be disabled until the job completes.
Schedule Mass Merge Job:
For scheduled jobs using a CRON expression.
Enter the CRON expression and click "Schedule."
After clicking "Schedule," the input will be disabled, and the job executing message will be shown.
Data Cloud Duplicate Rules:
Utilizes the Data Cloud duplicate rules functionality to provide the Duplicate Records Set.
During merging, finds the master record and maps all fields to the master record.
Mass Merge Functionality:
After configuring the Mass Merge settings and running or scheduling the job, the process will find all DuplicateRecordSets under the selected DuplicateRule and merge DuplicateRecordItems.
If "Run Simulation" is enabled, the record will not actually merge, and the "Merge Winner" field will be checked only on the selected Master Record in the process of mass merging.
For more details about record merging, refer to the Zenroute Logs report, which contains all logs related to merging with record details.
