In Zenroute, both users and administrators can edit and delete merge rules.
Editing Merge Rules:
To edit merge rules in Zenroute, follow these steps:
Accessing Merge Rules:
Log in to your Zenroute account and navigate to the Auto Merge and Mapping section, typically located in the created merge rule list.
Locate Merge Rule:
Identify the merge rule you want to edit from the list of existing rules.
Select Edit Option:
Once you've found the merge rule, select the "Edit" option from the drop-down menu and click on the edit button.
Adjust Criteria:
Review and modify the criteria used by the merge rule. This includes entering a rule title, adding criteria for merging, setting conditions for the criteria list above, mapping object fields during merging, and setting the merge rule status.
Email exact_match' will be established as the default condition for merging.
Save Changes:
After making the necessary adjustments, save your changes by clicking on the "Save merge rule" button. This will update the merge rule with the new criteria.
Deleting Merge Rules:
To delete merge rules in Zenroute, follow these steps:
Access Merge Rules:
Log in to your Zenroute account and navigate to the Auto Merge and Mapping section, typically located in the created merge rule list.
Locate Merge Rule:
Find the merge rule you want to delete from the list of existing rules.
Select Delete Option:
Look for the delete option associated with the merge rule you wish to delete. select the "Delete" option from the drop-down menu and click on the delete button.
Confirmation Prompt:
Zenroute may prompt you to confirm the deletion to prevent accidental removal of important rules. Confirm that you want to delete the selected merge rule.
Confirm Deletion:
Once confirmed, the merge rule will be permanently deleted from your system. Ensure that you no longer need the rule before proceeding, as deleted rules cannot be recovered.
