Auto Merge And Mapping
Creating Mappings
Each merging category allows for detailed field mappings between source and target objects. Follow these steps to create mappings:
Select a Merging Category: Choose one of the merging categories (Lead to Lead, Contact to Contact, Lead to Contact).
Specify Source Field: Select the field from the source object.
Specify Target Field: Select the field from the target object.
Add Mapping: Click the "Map" button to add the selected mapping to the category.
Note: Duplicate mappings are not allowed.
Managing Mappings
Each mapping includes actionable options to manage its usage:
Enable Mapping Toggle: Toggle to activate or deactivate the mapping.
Edit Button: Click to edit the mapping. The Source and Target fields will be pre-filled with the current mapping values for easy modification.
Delete Button: Click to delete the mapping.
Note: Administrators can use the Zenroute Logs to diagnose and understand issues with rule execution if the fields are not populated as expected.
Merge Mapping Functionality
During the merging process, Zenroute ensures that the master record fields are populated correctly:
Populate Null Fields: If the master record fields are null or blank, they are populated with values from the merger record.
Apply Merge Mapping: Fields specified in the merge mapping are populated or overwritten in the master record with values from the merger record.
For example, in Lead to Lead merging, if there are merge mappings for "city to city" and "last name to last name", the master lead record's city and last name fields will be populated with the corresponding values from the merger lead records.

Understanding Merge Results:
When records are merged, Zenroute will follow the mapping rules defined.
Check the master record to ensure fields are populated according to the mappings.
Troubleshooting:
If mappings do not work as expected, use the Zenroute Logs to investigate. Logs provide insights into rule execution and any issues that might have occurred.
Ensure there are no duplicate mappings and that the mappings are correctly configured.
By following these steps, users can efficiently manage data merging within Zenroute, ensuring accurate and seamless integration of lead and contact information.
